Project Summary
The Smithsonian Institution is the largest museum and research complex in the world. It required superior fire and life safety services to safeguard its rare collections. Kinetix provided fire and smoke damper testing and inspections to the Smithsonian Institution Museums and its other facilities. Additionally, we completed special hazards inspection and testing projects at the Smithsonian Facilities which included halon, dry chemical, kitchen hood, and clean agent systems in over fourteen museums and buildings in New York City and the Washington D.C. area. Coordination with ‘internal clients’ such as building managers and curators was critical to the success of this project.
